Downeast Rowing, the only community rowing organization in Downeast Maine, launched in 2016 with the purpose of getting rowers of all skill levels out on the waters of Mount Desert Island. We offer recreational and competitive rowing opportunities. Row with us in the early morning, accompanied by wailing loons, or in the afternoon, as the sun sets over Mansell Mountain.
